Often, yes — where the existing panels remain structurally suitable and the surface can be correctly prepared. The condition of the existing coating, corrosion and adhesion all matter.
Do I need to know the existing coating system?
No. Tell us what you know and include any previous coating information if available. Unknown existing coatings may need further assessment or adhesion testing before specification.
Can cut-edge corrosion be treated as part of the work?
Yes, where the corrosion remains suitable for refurbishment. Corroded edges need appropriate preparation and treatment rather than simply being covered by the finish coat.
Can you match an existing cladding colour?
Common RAL colours can be specified. For an existing weathered finish, the required final colour should be confirmed rather than relying on the appearance of faded panels.
