Want to add cladding coating to what you already do?
Learn the products, preparation and process before you take on your first cladding refurbishment job. Built for roofers, cladders, builders and maintenance trades who are new to these systems — not people who already know everything.

Roofers & cladders
Add coating and refurbishment work to an existing roofing or cladding service.
Trades adding a service
Understand the systems before quoting or buying for your first live project.
Maintenance teams
Learn how to recognise repairable defects and where each product fits.
Blackburn training
Hands-on sessions and live demonstrations through Forti Nova.
You do not need to know the product names before you turn up.
The useful skill is learning how to look at the building, understand the defect and then choose the right preparation and product route. We teach the sequence, not just how to open a tin.
Leave understanding what work you can confidently price, what product belongs where, what preparation matters and when a job needs more assessment instead.
Read the building
Recognise fading, chalking, corrosion, open laps, failed details and local water ingress.
Know what needs preparation
Understand why cleaning, adhesion, corrosion removal and substrate condition determine whether a coating works.
Treat corrosion correctly
See where UNI-RW fits on correctly prepared exposed steel and cut-edge areas.
Deal with laps & joints
Understand when flexible detailing such as MonoSealant is needed before the main coating stage.
Apply the main coating
Understand TopSpray 35 mixing, coverage, RAL choice, application logic and why film build matters.
Recognise repair work
Learn where HBS200 and ProFix fit for waterproof repair — and why they are not the same job as cladding recoating.
Turn work you already see into work you can understand.
Roofers and maintenance contractors already encounter faded sheets, rusty edges, leaking gutters and failed details. Training gives you a route to understand these jobs instead of automatically walking away from them or guessing at a product.
Existing roofing customers
Spot cladding, gutter and coating opportunities while already on site.
Maintenance contracts
Add planned coating and local waterproof repair to ongoing maintenance work.
Commercial property work
Understand when refurbishment may be viable before replacement is considered.
Supply support afterwards
Use the same site to calculate quantities, buy materials and access system guidance.
Learn the job first. Then the product makes sense.
We teach the limitations as well.
The most useful thing for someone new to cladding coating is knowing when not to sell it. Structural failure, perforated sheets, incompatible coatings or unresolved water entry can change the whole route. Training should make you more confident saying both yes and no.
WHEN CAN CLADDING BE COATED?The learning does not stop after the session.
Our Answers & Guides library gives you a reference point for cut-edge corrosion, faded cladding, coating suitability, gutter repairs, coverage, costs and refurbishment-vs-replacement questions.
OPEN ANSWERS & GUIDESWhat people usually want to know first.
Do I need previous cladding coating experience?
No. The training route is designed to help people understand the products and process before taking on this type of work. Roofing, cladding, building maintenance or general trade experience is useful, but previous use of these exact systems is not assumed.
Who is the training for?
Roofers, cladding contractors, maintenance teams, builders and tradespeople who want to add cladding refurbishment, coating or waterproof repair work to the services they already offer.
Where is training held?
Forti Nova provides training and live product demonstrations from its Blackburn base. Course availability and the system being demonstrated should be confirmed when booking.
What will I learn?
The session focuses on recognising suitable work, preparation, corrosion treatment, laps and joints, product roles, coverage, application logic and the limits of each system.
Can I train before buying materials?
Yes. Training is intended to help you understand the system before committing to materials for a live project.
Does training mean every roof or cladding job can be coated?
No. Some substrates need further repair, assessment or replacement. A key part of training is knowing when a coating or repair system is not the correct answer.
Can I buy materials after training?
Yes. SprayMyCladding provides the direct-buy route for the systems covered on this site, with project quantity calculation and technical guidance.
Can Forti Nova install the system instead?
Yes. If you would rather have a project delivered for you, use the installation enquiry route instead of the supply-and-training route.
Tell us where you're starting from.
You do not need to know which product you need. Tell us what work you already do and what you want to add. We can point you toward the most relevant training route.
